manga colouring (wip)
It's Grimmjow Jaegerjaques from BLEACH.
More under the cut. Beware of fairly large images.

Halfway Done:

Don't ask me why I bother colouring anything if I whine so much. As you can see, I haven't gotten around to the background yet. (Expect more grousing about that.) I'm not too sure if I'm happy with the top of Grimmjow's hair, either, but I suppose it isn't intolerable. The colouring is a bit off if you compare it to the official images, but I like it. So there. [I might still mess with the final result in the end.]
The speech bubble is orange for now because I want it to be. (If anyone can figure out why I made it orange in this particular picture, I will... um, make you something should you wish it?)

I've improved quite a bit from when I first tried to colour something, let me tell you! The first attempt was terrible, admittedly. I'm just glad I've come such a long way since then! I even made my own palatte this time. <3
Still, any and all constructive criticism is greatly appreciated. I've still got a lot to learn! Thank you in advance to anyone who comments. :D

Oh, cool.

Two more burning questions. I had a third but I can't remember it.

Do overlong non-fiction book titles bother anyone else? Especially when they're in the format of ('witty' phrase: how ___ __ __ _ __ _ ____ __ __ __ __ __ ___ _____ _______ _________ _______ _____ __ ______ ______ ____ _______ _____________ ___ ____ __ ____ _______ ____ ____ ___ ________ ______ ______ __ _ _____ __ ______ ___ ___)
Burning Question 2: There is no such thing as a benevolent empire. Agree or disagree?

Just finished it. Will post shortly... :O

I don't think I'd read that book, actually.

(Nng, I have to go hunt down the various ones scattered in my journal when I get to the end of the big lists you gave me before...)

I wouldn't either. I'm not really that big on non-fiction, and I think the last one I read was Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World. Worth reading.

Actually, I'll recompile the scattered ones if you tell me the first and last in the main list.

Really!? That'd be awesome. <3
The first one I have is #001 (What's the best thing you've ever found lying there ripe for the taking?). The last one I have on the official main list is #129 (Is monkey labor unethical?). I think that I have the rest lurking in the depths of my inbox. XD

130: What bands have you checked out because of their name?
131: What kind of dog is Spunky anyway?
132: Does slapping "With A Vengeance" at the end of a movie title make it better or worse? Provide examples.
133: 1: Do you think the lack of compassion especially in internet culture has produced people (I'm not going to say generation because some people who are like this are six years older than I am and somse mature people are six years younger than I am) who would fail a Voight-Kampff empathy test? Remember that the test is meant to elicit an emotional response, not check for the type of emotional response.
134: Has anyone made a sincere attempt at beating Battletoads with two players, and by beating, I mean getting to the Clinger Winger?
135: Who would you vote for in an election with a pancake, Ice Man, Blocko Man, a leucrotta, and a rabbit?
136: What bands have taken you a long time to get in to?
137: Don't you hate when there's a sign that says "do not flush paper towels down the toilet or it will clog" and there's paper towels in the toilet as if someone wanted to test this out for himself/herself?
138: In The Time Machine (either movie - and I know there's a third one made in 1978, inexplicably set in Plymouth, MA, as the book doesn't make it explicit what happened and when), why does civilization never rebuild even after 800,000 years?
139: So, when are we going to see a Thai knockoff of Indiana Jones?
140: Why isn't the Matrix oversaturated with advertizing, if it's run by machines?
141: What's the worst book you've ever finished?
142: Why would you go to a Japanese bookstore, anyway? Unless you speak Japanese or know they have a copy of the Codex Seraphianus?
143: Why does the American Flag have precisely 47 stars?
144: Why would lovesliescrushing use loveliescrushing as their myspace addy, anyway?
145: It's July! Why would FOX play a Christmas episode of the Simpsons? Are they crazy?
146: How do you discover new music, unless your playlist hasn't changed since 1995?
147: What band has the worst fans? The best?
148: In Doug, is skin color additive or subtractive?
149: Do overlong non-fiction book titles bother you?
150: There is no such thing as a benevolent empire. Agree or disagree?
